God Wars II is a player killing (PK) mud, but that does not mean you will get slaughtered as soon as you log on. You start out in the Realm plane, which is safe with the exception of a few select locations. Classed characters are prevented from entering any PK locations within the Realm plane.
The fighting arena located in Glyphstone Village is suited for matching your skill against another player, and allows for group combat, brawls and mayhem battles as well. Any avatar (unclassed player) can enter the arena while you are fighting and watch - or engage in combat.
The duelling grounds in the village have several private arenas, limited to only two sparring partners at any time. They are ideal for testing your setups and strategies against a friend, or for matches where you don't want to risk being disturbed or attacked by a third party.
The most dangerous player killing location within the Realm plane is the Black Knight's tower, which can be found a short way to the southeast from the village. It contains a rather strong, aggressive mob, and you will have to watch your back for possible intruders while fighting him. You should only enter the tower if you are reasonably confident about your fighting skill.
After you get classed, you will be able to enter the Nexus - the main world where you will spend most of your playing time from there on. The Nexus is fully player killing.
